These graphs help show further what is happening. It is NOT the case that the related words ALWAYS occur near each other. It is only when you take a large enough sample of related word pairs that a TENDENCY for this to occur becomes obvious. In the top graph (for the Genesis text), most of the word pair samples occur towards the left side (being close), an unexpected result, while in the bottom graph (a control text) the word pair samples are more or less evenly distributed from being close together to being far apart, as would be expected.
